2) Traducir las siguientes frases poniéndolas en estilo directo e indirecto.

- Ellas dijeron: "Nuestros hijos abrieron los regalos"

TOO – ANTES DE ADJETIVO Y ADVERBIO = demasiado

ENOUGH – DETRÁS DE ADJETIVO Y ADVERBIO = suficiente / suficientemente

*( enough puede ser pronombre o determinante antes de sustantivos)

pasos para traducir en estilo directo e indirecto

- Soraya me preguntó si había ido con ella al médico la semana anterior
1.- es indirecto
2.- no tiene dos puntos : ni comillas “…”
3.- es interrogativa por el verbo introductorio (preguntó) y porque aparece el “if”
4.- el tiempo verbal es PASADO PERFECTO = HAD + VERBO EN PARTICIPIO
5.- el cambio en el tiempo verbal de pasado perfecto para el estilo directo es a 2 posibilidades: pasado simple (si la acción está acabada y hay algo que lo demuestra: yesterday, last week…) o presente perfecto.
6.- tengo que imaginarme la situación para otros cambios en pronombres, posesivos…

(estilo indirecto = REPORTED SPEECH)  
SORAYA ASKED ME IF I HAD GONE TO THE DOCTOR WITH HER THE PREVIOUS WEEK/THE WEEK BEFORE.

(estilo directo = DIRECT SPEECH)  
SORAYA ASKED ME:  “DID YOU GO TO THE DOCTOR WITH ME LAST WEEK?”

A)- sofian me dijo: “¿qué estudias?” (WH-QUESTION)
Sofian told me (said to me): “what do you study?”

1)     identificar si es wh-question o yes/no question
2)     poner el wh-question (pronombre interrogativo)
3)     cambio en el tiempo verbal
4)     estructura enunciativa

SOFIAN ASKED ME WHAT I STUDIED.


B)- sofian me dijo: “ ¿estudias inglés?” (yes/no-QUESTION)
sofián told me: “do you study English?”

1)     identificar si es wh-question o yes/no question
2)     como es yes/no question se pone IF
3)     cambio en el tiempo verbal
4)     estructura enunciativa

REPORTED QUESTIONS

2 tipos:

- WH-QUESTIONS: WHERE… WHO… WHY… WHEN… WHAT…

- YES/NO QUESTIONS:  la respuesta empieza por SÍ o NO. SE INCLUYE: IF...
Do you like…? Is she reading…?  Did you visit…? Will you study…?

* la estructura en indirecto es enunciativa = NO ES UNA PREGUNTA DIRECTA – NO LLEVA INTERROGACIÓN NI ESTRUCTURA INTERROGATIVA.

recuerda:
En estilo indirecto = he ASKED...
NO HAY INTERROGACIÓN AL FINAL
NO APARECE EL “THAT” ANTES DEL PRONOMBRE INTERROGATIVO O EL IF

REPORTED COMMANDS

- Imperative – TO + V (infinitive)
- Imperative (negative) -  NOT TO + V (infinitive)

I told you: “study!”

son correctos:
- I SAID = YO DIJE. introduce algo que se dijo sin especificar a quién.
- I SAID TO YOU = YO TE DIJE. indica a quién se le dijo
- I TOLD YOU = YO TE DIJE. indica a quién se le dijo. No requiere el "to" porque "tell" = decir a...  

 son incorrectos:
