MODELO EXAM UNIT 6


1)     traduce las siguientes frases poniéndolas en los 3 tipos de condicional vistos:

1.- Si Marina no habla mucho aprobará Inglés

- IF MARINA DOES NOT SPEAK A LOT, SHE WILL PASS ENGLISH
- IF MARINA DID NOT SPEAK A LOT, SHE WOULD PASS ENGLISH
- IF MARINA HAD NOT SPOKEN A LOT, SHE WOULD HAVE PASSED ENGLISH

2.- Unai vendrá con Cristian el año que viene si no escribe las frases

- UNAI WILL COME WITH CRISTIAN NEXT YEAR IF HE DOES NOT WRITE THE SENTENCES
- UNAI WOULD COME WITH CRISTIAN NEXT YEAR IF HE DID NOT WRITE THE SENTENCES
- UNAI WOULD HAVE COME WITH CRISTIAN NEXT YEAR IF HE HAD NOT WRITTEN THE SENTENCES

2)     completa los huecos poniendo el verbo en el tiempo correspondiente

1.- If you … (kill) him, you would go to prison. = KILLED
2.- Where you … (go) if they paid you the tickets? = WOULD YOU GO

3)     traduce las siguientes frases poniéndolas en estilo directo e indirecto y LA DEL ESTILO DIRECTO PONERLA en los tres tipos de condicional

1.- Inés dijo: “ ¿vendrás conmigo si te invito?
INÉS SAID: “WILL YOU COME WITH ME IF I INVITE YOU?” (estilo directo + 1º condicional)
INÉS ASKED IF I WOULD COME WITH HER IF SHE INVITED ME (estilo indirecto)

2º condicional = WOULD YOU COME WITH ME IF I INVITED YOU?
¿vendrías conmigo si yo te invitara?
3º condicional = WOULD YOU HAVE COME WITH ME IF I HAD INVITED YOU?
¿habrías venido conmigo si te hubiera invitado?


2.- Kevin me dijo que no esperaría si tuviera prisa
(tener prisa = BE in a hurry)

KEVIN TOLD ME THAT HE WOULD NOT WAIT IF HE WAS IN A HURRY (indirecto)
KEVIN TOLD ME: “I WILL NOT WAIT IF I AM IN A HURRY” (directo + 1º condicional)

2º condicional= I WOULD NOT WAIT IF I WAS IN A HURRY
3º condicional = I WOULD NOT HAVE WAITED IF I HAD BEEN IN A HURRY


4)     traduce las siguientes frases poniéndolas en estilo directo e indirecto

a)     statements
1.- Verónica dijo: “mi libro está aquí”

VERÓNICA SAID: “MY BOOK IS HERE”
VERÓNICA SAID THAT HER BOOK WAS THERE

2.- Andrea me dijo que había estudiado el día anterior

ANDREA TOLD ME THAT SHE HAD STUDIED THE PREVIOUS DAY
ANDREA TOLD ME: “I STUDIED YESTERDAY”

b)    commands
1.- Me dijiste: “cállate”

YOU TOLD ME: “BE QUIET”
YOU TOLD ME TO BE QUIET

2.- Nos dijeron que nos fuéramos

THEY TOLD US TO GO
THEY TOLD US “GO”

c)      questions
1.- la profesora nos dijo: “¿cuándo iréis a Londres?”

THE TEACHER TOLD US: “WHEN WILL YOU GO TO LONDON?”
THE TEACHER ASKED US WHEN WE WOULD GO TO LONDON

2.- me preguntaste por qué dije tu nombre

YOU ASKED ME WHY I SAID YOUR NAME
YOU ASKED ME: “WHY DO YOU SAY MY NAME?”

5)     cambia la frase a estilo directo o indirecto según corresponda

1.- She said she was very happy

SHE SAID: “I AM VERY HAPPY”

2.- My friends asked me when they had been with me.

MY FRIENDS ASKED ME: “WHEN HAVE WE BEEN WITH YOU?”
